At A-M-J we pride ourselves in being able to provide a safe and secure service to our employees and clients.
A full Risk Assessment is carried out before work commences ensuring that our clients and staff are fully aware of the Safe Method of Work to be followed on site.
Our window cleaners benefit from regular toolbox talks and training to continually sharpen their awareness to Health & Safety in the workplace. All equipment is routinely inspected and logged including ladders, stabilizers and safety harnesses.
All work is carried out in line with Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 1999, G S Guidance Notes Preventing Falls to Window Cleaners, Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999, Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992,The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations 1992, BS.EN354, BS.EN355, BS.EN364 – 192, BSN365 specifications for permanent anchorage points and use of safety harness/lanyards, Code of practice and safety guidelines from The National Federation of Master Window Cleaners and our in-house risk assessment and safe method of work systems.
